“You should be a Death Doula !”
When the world started telling me… I Listened, then I Learned.
I continually learn from my clients and my increasing support network of mentors and peers.
I believe in Compassionate Communities for supporting the needs of the dying person and for supporting the carers in their intimate roles.
As a Queen’s Scout and Joey Scout Leader, I live and promote the Scout Motto – Be Prepared.
Having a past career in Agricultural Science, farming and remote living in Southern Tasmania, I share my lived experience of death and dying by guiding others with presence, compassion and calm.
With decades of experience in leadership, care, and community-focused roles, I now offer a
grounded and deeply human service as an End-of-Life Doula. Drawing from my extensive
background in welfare, safety, remote support, and natural systems, I provide respectful
companionship and practical guidance for individuals and families navigating the final stages of
life. I hold space for what matters most… Dignity, Choice, Connection, and Meaning.
