As well as supporting people in their end-of-life journey, Roxanne is a writer & poet, a celebrant, and a sheep farmer. She lives on bPangerang country (NE Victoria) with its mountains, hills, flood plains, fantastic swimming holes and close-knit communities. She also works as a Learning Skills Advisor at the Country Universities Centre and is an adjunct researcher for Charles Sturt University.
From her own experience of traversing the landscape of grief while working in the welfare field and facilitating grief programmes, she next moved into celebrancy to help develop personalised and meaningful funerals. This role naturally extended into supporting people preparing for death. End-of-life work is very dear to her heart, and she strongly believes in the right of individuals to do things the way that suits them.
She has completed training in:
Death Doula (Life Options)
Deathwalker (Zenith Virago)
Death Literacy (NDAN)
Community Activist (AHFA)
Civil Celebrancy (Monash Uni)
