I would like to acknowledge my role as a Death Doula on the Coffs Coast, Gumbaynggirr Nation, caring for the dying members of our community and their families, both in home & through The Ascension Center,
A career in institutional nursing, highlighted Death as poorly managed, alone and no place for grief,
A personal time came of profound disillusionment, dark nights of the soul, and total loss of identity of who & what I had believed I was,
The struggle out, or through, carried with it a new sense of, not only myself, but the world, of how that world may look, and brought forth a fiery passion to create that new earth through the death space,
Hence the creation of The Ascension Center, (nadasura.au) a private, sacred and safe space for members of the community to die, supported, encouraged, educated, listened to deeply without judgement of a life lived,
I bring with me a caring nursing background; an innerstanding of medical terminology; guidance through the planning; training in Sound – specialising in the wonderful vibration of Himalayan Bowls; certificated in equine reiki; a qualified cannabis Consultant to guide you on your cannabis journey-if you so wish; my role to guide and educate you and your loved ones to be sovereign in your journey towards the transformational journey through the portal of death,
