Hello I am here to support you and your beloved animal companion during their end-of-life journey. Providing care at this sacred time is one of the greatest gifts we can offer. My journey as an End-of-Life Doula stems from years of being with pets and people in their final moments, honouring the deep love shared between humans and animals.
In 2016, I founded Rosie’s Hospice of Compassion Inc., inspired by a special hen, to provide palliative care for rescued animals. My experiences caring for senior dogs, disabled chickens and other animals have shaped my understanding of grief and the profound bonds we share with our pets.
With over 25 years in animal care, I’ve witnessed the joys and sorrows of pet companionship. Death, though challenging, is a natural part of this journey, one we can learn to navigate together. My background as an animal cruelty investigator and meditation teacher has deepened my emotional resilience, enabling me to support others through meditation groups for animal caregivers.
As a certified End-of-Life Doula, I offer various services through Rosie’s Hospice, including community gatherings, online programs, and personalized support. Some services are free, and your contributions help care for rescued palliative animals.
